Our New Hybrid Worship Schedule

Dear People of Grace,

Beginning on Palm Sunday, March 28, we will have a hybrid worship schedule that will include in-person options for both indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as continued online worship for those who are more comfortable at home. We will do our best to find a way to connect with everyone given the circumstances we are facing, and we ask that you discern which worship space is meaningful for you. Now is not the time for perfect solutions; rather, we are all being invited to do what we can to support one another as vaccinations increase and we look toward even more opening in the coming months.

We give thanks for our healthcare workers, teachers, first responders, and all who contribute to the life of our community. And we continue to make good decisions that regard the well-being of the entire community.

For those who may want an easy link to the latest health department guidelines around vaccinations, our medical advisory team offers this link for your consideration. You may want to explore the latest guidelines on age limits and other factors as you plan your vaccination. https://phdistrict2.org/

As for our worship at Grace, you will find the revised Holy Week service schedule and registration information for pertinent services at the links below. Please note that registration is still required for all in-person gatherings. Links to worship bulletins and to online services will be added to our website as they become available.

As you can see, transition times are tight between these services, so they will be slightly abbreviated given the circumstances.

We will use the next couple months to gauge where the energy is in the community regarding the different platforms. Over time, we will make necessary adjustments, but these will be done slowly and mindfully as we consider the healthcare and situation of all in the parish. For example, it may be that the outdoor option is not needed after a few weeks, but we will monitor registrations and discern next steps.

I am excited that we have reached this point, and I have no doubt that everyone can find a space where they can share in our worship of God—the true heart of our parish community.

Blessings, always,
Stuart+
