Thank You from the Food Pantry

In August you opened your hearts and generously contributed to our Gainesville Hall Community Food Pantry by participating in Grace’s Food Drive. Thanks to you, this food drive was a huge success. You returned nearly 75 bags filled with donations in August and donations are still coming through.

Please know your donations make a difference in the lives of our local families who are living with food insecurity. We serve approximately 150 – 200 clients each month and estimate that your donations of lunch snacks & drinks, canned fruits & vegetables, and canned tuna fish will stretch so they can be added to our client bags through the end of September.

If you have any questions about our food pantry, volunteering there, or making further donations please contact Darlene Hauserman.

Save the Date: Parish Feast Day

We will observe our annual parish feast day: the Feast of the Holy Cross on Sunday, September 17. In addition to services at 8:15 and 10:45 AM, there will be a continental breakfast at 9:00 AM, followed by CE for all ages from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Please mark your calendar and make plans to be here!

Grace Center Access During Construction

Most of the interior of The Grace Center is open, but at present is only accessible via the connector corridor from the main campus. Doors are blocked for entry, and should only be used for exit in the event of an emergency. Some parking is still available in the lot next to the Grace Center, but you will need to walk down the sidewalk and enter the building through the St. Francis Garden.

The “front desk” of the parish office is currently located in the greeting area. If you visit the office during normal hours (Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM) please come to the St. Francis Garden doors. If no one is there to let you in call 770-536-0126. If you are stopping by to see a certain staff member we recommend calling ahead, as there may be days when the majority of the staff are working remotely.

Save the Date

Look ahead to upcoming opportunities for prayer, worship, and community!
