Grace Church Friends of Music welcomes New South Festival Singers with Lynn Swanson as Music Director and Organist on Sunday, May 7 at 4:00 PM. Concert is free; a reception will follow in the parish hall.
New South Festival Singers concludes their 38th Concert Season with a Bon Voyage Concert as the chorus heads to the invitation only International Piccolo Spoleto Festival in Charleston, South Carolina. Music to include: Renaissance, Classical, Romantic, Present-Day Composers, Spirituals & Black Gospel Music.
The concert will also be livestreamed to our website and Facebook page.
This Sunday, May 7, is our last regularly scheduled CE hour of the 2022-2023 academic year! The Parenting with Grace class will meet as usual in the conference room. All other classes are invited to gather with Fr. Stuart in the parish hall for games and fellowship.
You are invited to tour with the Grace Parish Choir summer of 2024 to Exeter, England. This tour is for singers and non-singers. We would love to have you come along with us and Father Stuart as we not only serve as Choir-in-Residence but make day trips to the country side and explore the rich history and landscape of this beautiful part of the earth.
Below are links to our Exeter Cathedral Choir-In-Residence itinerary and price sheet. The price sheet is of course, subject to change due to the economic climate we find ourselves in. Airfare is not included in the price.
Spaces are limited and are almost full. If you are interested, please follow the link below to sign up. You may contact Father Stuart or Music Director Lynn Swanson for any questions you might have. But, do it soon! There is a $500 deposit due on October 1 for each person going. ONE DOES NOT HAVE TO SING TO GO! If you have a friend or partner or cousin that wants to come, please get them signed up soon.

One of several campus improvements included in our ongoing bicentennial campaign was adding niches for two additional columbarium bays. We are happy to report that project is now complete, after the team worked through last weekend to install them.
Visit our website to learn more about the bicentennial campaign, A Future of Grace, and prayerfully consider making a pledge by Sunday, May 14. With your help, we will position Grace Episcopal Church as a thriving spiritual community as we step into our third century of shared ministry – with prayer, compassion, and belonging.
The deadline to submit information for the 2023 graduate recognition bulletin and slideshow is 9:00 AM on Monday, May 8!
The bulletin will be provided as links to a digital slideshow and a printable .pdf document in the May 14 issue of our email newsletter. Graduates will also be recognized during the 10:45 AM service May 14.
If you will graduate (or have a child graduating) this spring/summer from high school or college (undergraduate or graduate degrees), please submit the online information form on or before the deadline to be included in the slideshow and printable bulletin.
Look ahead to upcoming opportunities for prayer, worship, and community!
