In light of new guidelines issued by the CDC, as well as updated regathering protocols from The Diocese of Atlanta, the staff and vestry of Grace Church recently made some changes to our parish protocols.
A pick-up choir will help lead Sunday worship every week June-August. Please email Will Gotmer for more information if you are interested in participating. Rehearsals will be held Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM. Previous choir participation is not necessary.
Women of ALL AGES AND STAGES are invited to gather on Wednesday evenings from 4:30-6:00 PM in the preschool wing for fellowship. We will use one of the classrooms with playground access so that young children can play while moms are able to supervise them and still enjoy fellowship. The preschool is allowing us access to this room throughout the summer. Fall will bring many changes in what we can offer again at Grace and we will adjust this fellowship time as necessary when that time comes. In the meantime, please join us! All women are welcome. Contact Cynthia+ with any questions!
Our staff and clergy will be closing their virtual offices on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31. (The physical parish office has not yet re-opened on a regular basis.)
Prayer Yoga will not meet on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.
Godly Play is the foundation of our formation offerings for children ages 3 through third grade. Godly Play is a creative, imaginative approach to Christian formation and spiritual guidance with a Montessori foundation and more than forty years of research and practice. Grace will be hosting a regional CORE training for new Godly Play teachers August 12th, 13th and 14th. If you’d like to learn more about Godly Play, please contact Cheryl for more information and to register for training.
Technology certainly makes our lives easier, but it doesn’t always work perfectly! We have recently been made aware that we did not receive information submitted by a few parishioners via one of our online forms. Others were able to successfully submit the form and it has been subsequently tested without issue so it is unclear how this error occurred.
Please do note that ALL of the forms on our website are set up to send a confirmation email to the user and/or direct the user to a dedicated confirmation page after the form is correctly submitted. If at least one of those things does not happen after you click the “submit” button on a form, it likely means your information was not received.
Please also note that some forms include a reCAPTCHA box to help eliminate spam entries. Successfully completing the reCAPTCHA does not submit the form however. Please be sure to also click the submit button on those forms!
So, keep watch for a confirmation email and/or confirmation page after submitting a form and feel free to email me if you ever have questions or concerns. I will be happy to check to be sure we have your information!
