The Parenting class will not meet on Sunday, March 31.
At noon each Wednesday in Lent, we gather with members of other churches in our community for worship and a light lunch. (Suggested donation is $5.) First Presbyterian Church will host the service on April 3.
Please note that there will be no 12:10 PM service in our chapel during Lent.
The invitation to a holy Lent calls us to self-examination and repentance by, among other things, prayer and reading and meditating on God’s holy Word. Join us on Saturday, April 6 from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM for a Lenten Quiet Day and give yourself the gift of some time to rest and reflect on Jesus’ life, teachings and practices so that we can live more fully lives transformed by God’s love.
Lunch will be provided, please register online or at the information station no later than Wednesday, April 3.
Dinner Come eat dinner together on Wednesday, April 3 at 5:30 PM! Sign up online, at the information station, or call the church office by noon on Monday.
Please visit the Wednesday Evenings at Grace page for complete details, including cost, childcare, and payment information.
Program Opportunities to learn about different prayer practices are being offered following the meal. The April 3 program is “Prayer Insights from Shepherding School.” Build on the prayerful comfort of the 23rd Psalm by understanding more about the context of sheep and shepherding. From that context, along with text translations, find the familiar words of the Psalm packed with insights for our lives of faith in today’s world.
Grace adults gather each month in the Youth Room to watch and discuss movies old and new addressing a wide variety of subjects. Typically held on the second Friday each month, April’s movie will be shown on April 5 instead, leaving moviegoers free to attend the Aeolians concert on April 12 if desired!
A very casual occasion, participants often bring a little food and drink to share. We always have a good time and lively discussion. Join us on April 5 at 7:00 PM!
Our COG preschool is on Spring Break April 1-5!
