Grace Church uses original artwork by children and youth (up to 12th grade) in the bulletin for the Christmas pageant service and on our Facebook page during the Christmas season.
Please use colored pencils, paint, crayons, pencil, or markers to draw a nativity scene on this page or on an 8 1/2×11 piece of paper. Don’t forget to include your name and age! Submit artwork by Wednesday, December 11: give it back to your Sunday School teacher, drop it by the parish office, or scan and email it to Jennifer Williams. (A jpeg file works best, scanned at 300 dpi resolution or higher. No photographs please, as they will not reproduce well in the bulletin.)
Several years ago we began a tradition of decorating a Grace Family Tree. If you are new to Grace, or simply haven’t yet contributed an ornament, please bring one in and hang it on the tree in the parish hall. Please include your name, and perhaps the year, somewhere on the ornament or on a ribbon attached to the ornament. At the end of the season, ornaments are stored at Grace to be put back on next year. Don’t miss this chance to leave a small Christmas legacy at Grace.
Flowers and greenery enhance the beauty of our Christmas worship services at Grace Church. They can be given in memory of or in thanksgiving for family members, friends and loved ones and acknowledgment will be printed in the Christmas Eve worship bulletins.
The deadline to contribute toward Christmas flowers is Friday, December 13. To simplify the donation process, please fill out your form and make your donation online. Paper forms are also available at the information station if needed.
