Regular practice can help us notice the presence and action of God in our daily lives, and deepen our compassion for ourselves and the people around us.
In the past month, there has been a significant amount of scam emails sent to church members in our diocese. We first received notice about this in July and unfortunately, some of our members are still being targeted.
Scammers trick you into giving them your money or your personal information. The scammers may appear to be legitimate and may even pose as a person or organization you are familiar with. Please exercise extreme caution with these emails.
If you have received an unusual email from a parish leader or the bishop’s office requesting gift cards or money it could be part of a scam.
