Ministry Fair set up will be Sunday, August 7 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. If you are not able to set up and decorate your table on August 7, you are welcome to come during parish office hours, Monday, August 8 – Thursday, August 11 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
If you have not yet been in touch with church staff to let us know you plan to have a table for your ministry or committee, please contact Fr. Stuart asap!
Cheryl Kelley’s last day as Director of Christian Formation at Grace will be August 7 and we will celebrate her during the 10:45 AM service on August 14. Our children, youth, and their parents are invited to write a card and bring it to church that Sunday, to give to Cheryl during the Peace. If you would like to contribute toward a gift, please send your check, made out to Grace Episcopal Church with “Cheryl” noted in the memo line, to the office by Tuesday, August 9.
The Outreach Committee continues their annual school supply drive. Supplies requested are: #2 pencils with erasers, spiral notebooks, glue sticks, blunt tip metal scissors, 16 or 24 ct. Crayola crayons, washable markers, wide rule filler paper, pocket folders with brads, Crayola colored pencils, cap erasers, highlighters, pencil boxes, zip lock bags (sandwich, quart or gallon), hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, index cards, and boxes of facial tissue.
Supplies can be left in the wagon in the lower foyer beside the narthex on Sundays or dropped off in the parish office Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Checks or online donations will also be accepted. Make checks out to Grace Episcopal Church with “school supplies” noted in the memo line. For online donations, choose outreach as the contribution type and note “school supplies” in the memo box. All donations are requested by Kick Off Sunday, August 14. Thank you for your continued support of this annual outreach effort!
We are looking for one or more parishioners to take photographs on Kick Off Sunday – specifically of children and youth formation classes, the youth piping in, and the ministry fair.
