The Caregiver Support Group, sponsored by Alzheimer’s Association Georgia, which usually meets on the first Tuesday each month, has changed their May meeting to April 30.
Alzheimer’s Association® support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, provide a space for those caring for dementia patients to relieve stress, find comfort, and share resources. The group is open to all.
As you read last week, we will celebrate Brenda Morgan’s retirement on April 30. I hope you will send a card to thank her for her diligent work on the staff since 1998! Her home address can be found in our online member directory. If you would like to contribute toward a gift, please send your check, made out to Grace Episcopal Church with “Brenda” noted in the memo line, to the office. You may also make a gift online by check or credit card. Select “Other” as the payment type and note “Brenda” as the description or memo.
I wanted to share that Jennifer Williams will now take on an expanded, full-time role on staff as Director of Communication, adding the production of worship bulletins to her portfolio. I have no doubt that her design skills and keen eye will ensure that the liturgies for Sundays and other services are planned and communicated well. I am so thankful for Jennifer’s willingness to step into this role.
Blessings,
Stuart
