Columbarium Garden Update

We have been aware for a while that we need to complete the final two bays in our columbarium garden, providing a resting place for those in the community who have died. We now have a plan and a contract in place and we want to update you with the information.

There are currently only five niches remaining in the second, existing bay. Those will continue to be priced at $1,000, which includes two plaques for those who are interred there. With the two new bays, the cost will need to increase from the 1994-levels that we have been working with. For the remainder of 2022, niches in the final two bays will be priced at $1,500 (two plaques included) in the hopes of raising funds up front to cover the cost of the construction. At the first of next year, we will evaluate and see if we can keep the costs the same, or if a slight increase is needed to plan on sustainable funding and maintenance.

If you wish to purchase a niche, please contact Reba Page and we can begin that process even before construction begins. And, of course, if you have questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
