Cancellations at Grace Church

Dear People of Grace,

These are surreal days, my friends. I wanted to write to you, after discerning with the wardens, vestry, staff, and medical professionals. At this time the bishop has left it to local parishes to discern about cancellations of services.

The team at Grace has discerned that we cannot take the risk, being very mindful of the health of the most vulnerable among us.

At this time, we are cancelling services for Sunday, March 15 and March 22. All parish activities are cancelled from the end of COG today until Sunday, March 29. Our hope is to return for worship on Sunday, March 29.

I would commend to you the last parish wide email we sent out, with the link to our Facebook page and the videos also re-posted below. I will live stream Morning Prayer from our home on Sunday, March 15 at 10:45 AM. At least we can stay in touch this way.

As we mentioned, our pastoral phone tree is activating. Cynthia, Brenda, and the Compassion team are making sure that we remain in contact with one another.

Cheryl will work to post resources as well for Christian Education.

We will send emails out as needed, with additional information.

God’s blessings, always!
Stuart
