Parishioners are encouraged to attend the Annual Parish Meeting of Grace Episcopal Church on Sunday, February 2. Join us in the parish hall from 9:30 – 10:30 AM to hear key reports of parish business and results of the vestry election. A continental breakfast will be available.
Nursery and Godly Play will be offered for children. Youth are encouraged to attend the meeting.
During last Sunday’s Religious Life presentation, Grace Episcopal Church was gifted with a new icon entitled “The Exaltation of the Cross.” The icon beautifully shows Emperor Constatine the Great, who made Christianity legal throughout the Roman Empire in 313 A.D., holding the Cross before others, making it a symbol of the Christian faith. St. Helena, his mother, is standing to his right. She is credited with influencing her son’s acceptance of Christianity and for spreading the faith by building and equipping churches around the empire.
Our new icon will hang in the Narthex to remind us of Grace’s Feast Day, The Feast of the Holy Cross, which is celebrated on September 14th each year. We appreciate the addition of this icon to our iconography.
CE classes meet from 9:30 – 10:30 AM most Sundays until May 4. Exceptions are February 16, April 6, April 13, and April 20.
The Ministry Fair scheduled for February 23 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM will give us an opportunity to see the broad spectrum of life at Grace Episcopal Church. If your group would like to reserve a space to share information about the faithful work you are doing in this community, please email Fr. Stuart by Monday, February 17.
Look ahead to upcoming opportunities for prayer, worship, and community!
