On Sunday, June 16, we presented a new set of brass candlesticks to honor Cynthia’s time with us at Grace. The candlesticks are a gift from the Schrage family, dear friends of the parish have contributed so much to the life of the wider community. As well, the Dimo family inscribed the candlesticks as a gift, with a tribute to Cynthia and the verse from Genesis 1:31: “And God saw everything that he had made, and it was very good.”
We are thankful that we will have this gift for generations to come, to honor Cynthia and Jack’s presence with us.
Prayer yoga will not meet on Monday, July 1 or Thursday, July 4.
The parish office will be closed for the Independence Day holiday on Thursday, July 4.
The women of Grace Church will enjoy a weekend of rejoicing, reflection, and renewal January 17 – 19, 2025 at the Montreat Retreat and Conference Center in Montreat, North Carolina.
Registration is now open!
I invite you to explore sharing in a special pilgrimage in October 2025 to Greece! I will soon begin working to plan a pilgrimage for Grace that is centered around the key aspects of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. More information is forthcoming, but if you are interested, please let me know, and I will begin working with the group to see how we can craft a rich and meaningful experience.
Blessings,
Stuart
