I invite you to explore sharing in a special pilgrimage in October 2025 to Greece! I will soon begin working to plan a pilgrimage for Grace that is centered around the key aspects of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. More information is forthcoming, but if you are interested, please let me know, and I will begin working with the group to see how we can craft a rich and meaningful experience.
Blessings,
Stuart

Have you been thinking about your faith experience and how you can become more grounded in your faith? Perhaps you have been wondering about the rich well of insight offered through Bible reading. Grace is offering, at the end of August, a rich four-year opportunity to form and grow your spiritual roots.
Education for Ministry (EfM) is a four-year Christian Formation program developed at the School of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Built upon study, prayer, worship, and reflection, weekly seminars invite people of God to journey together through scripture, church history, and theology.
EfM helps the faithful discover the Christian tradition and bring it into conversation with their experiences of the world. EfM seminar groups meet onsite, all in person, developing theologically informed, reflective, and articulate seekers of God.
A seminar group consists of one or two mentors and up to twelve participants. Year 1 & 2 study the Hebrew Scriptures, the Gospels, and the New Testament. Year 3 looks at Church History. Year 4 reads systematic theology, developing and enhancing their own practice. The group meets up to 36 times each year over the course of four nine-month academic years.
EfM is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of Christian faith and theology, regardless of their prior theological education or experience. It provides a space for thoughtful dialogue, personal growth, and spiritual development. Should you have questions or want to register, please call, text or email: Carl Ferguson or Donna Yaughn. Contact information is in the church directory.
Look ahead to upcoming opportunities for prayer, worship, and community!
