Announcing Meg McPeek as Director of Children of Grace Preschool

I am excited to share that Meg McPeek has accepted the position of Director of Children of Grace Preschool. She has most recently served as the Assistant Director since 2019, but she has taught various classes for the past few years as well.

Meg brings with her a wealth of experience not only in programmatic development but also childhood education, curriculum, and strategic planning. When it comes to her abilities and qualification to serve as COG Director, her resume and experience is as big as her heart.

I want to particularly draw your attention to Meg’s educational background, personal experience, and embracing perspective that is appreciative of cultural diversity and the richness found within community. I greatly appreciate her willingness to ask difficult questions as we all step into this time where an even deeper intentionality is called for to support the development of a truly compassionate community.

In addition, I am grateful for Meg’s willingness to already invite conversations around a longer-term strategic plan for Children of Grace preschool. There is enormous potential to build on Ansley Forrester’s leadership these past ten years and take key steps that can lead COG into a very bright and exciting future.

Meg will work with Ansley and the staff these next couple of weeks to ensure a smooth transition for the upcoming school year. I know you will join me in welcoming Meg into this new role!

Blessings, always,
The Rev. Dr. Stuart Higginbotham
