Come be reminded that our connection with one another transcends the limits of physical death, as we mark the Feast of All Saints’ this Sunday, November 1, at all three services.
Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 AM this Sunday, November 1. Don’t forget to set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed Saturday night. Enjoy that extra hour of sleep!
In order for the Finance Committee and Vestry to do the preliminary budget work for 2021, we ask that everyone return their pledges by Sunday, November 15. Pledge forms were mailed to every household and can be printed from our website. Forms can also be filled out electronically. Thank you for your continued support of Grace Church!
One of the things I miss most during this pandemic is hymn singing – especially on a Sunday like All Saints’ when a few of my all-time favorite hymns come up! Last year, we did have a couple microphones in the Nave for our All Saints’ morning service and our special afternoon service. I hope you enjoy these clips as much as I do, perhaps you’ll even sing along with them at home!

This holiday season, Grace Church will help support two Family Promise outreach opportunities.
The first, Thanksgiving Blessing Boxes, will help stock the new Food Market. Beginning November 1, add an item to a box in your home, and on November 25 donate the contents to the Family Promise Food Market. For more information contact Family Promise at 770-535-0786. full list of items
The second project is the Christmas Promise Store. Each December Family Promise of Hall County partners with local businesses, churches and volunteers to provide a store full of new toys so families may select gifts for their children at drastically reduced prices. This year’s store will operate December 10, 11, and 12 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. If you would like to donate (money or toys) or volunteer to help with this effort, please email Valerie Butts or Heather Smith. more information
Don’t forget we are gathering outside on Sunday mornings following worship for a time of study, fellowship, and fun. Our intergenerational Sunday School is open to families and parishioners of all ages! This Sunday, October 25, we’ll continue with Compassion Camp, a look at how compassion helps us be present to one another, so we can better love God, our neighbors and ourselves. We meet in the Grace Center parking lot from 10:10 – 11:00 AM. Children must be accompanied by a parent. Registration is required. Register at the button link below and bring a chair and your mask!
