There will be three services at Grace on Christmas Eve, December 24. The 4:00 PM service will be family-friendly, with the children’s pageant as the Liturgy of the Word and Holy Communion to follow. A musical prelude will begin at 3:30 PM and music during the service will be led by the choristers.
We are adding in a 7:00 PM service again this year, a Holy Eucharist filled with traditional carols (including Silent Night by candle light) that will be perfect for those who want a full service but would rather not drive at night or stay up late!
At 10:30 PM, we will share in our traditional prelude time of music, followed by a Midnight Mass for the Feast of the Nativity at 11:00 PM. If you have never had the opportunity to come to Midnight Mass, let this year be your year!
A nursery will be available for children age 4 and under during the 4:00 and 7:00 PM services on Christmas Eve. Incense will only be used at the Midnight Mass.
The 10:00 AM service on Christmas Day, December 25, will be a spoken Holy Eucharist, Rite II. There will be no music at this service; rather, it is a time to come and share in readings, prayers, and Holy Communion as we celebrate the Nativity of Jesus Christ. No nursery available.
Prayer Yoga will not meet on December 23 or 30. Join us on Mondays when we start back up on January 6. Chair yoga meets at 2:45 and flow yoga at 3:45. Get more information and register. (Current participants do not need to re-register.)
The parish office will be closed December 24-26. Please remember that the office is always closed on Fridays; regular office hours are Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The parish office will reopen at 9:00 AM on Monday, December 30.
There will be no Wednesday evening meal or program on December 25 or January 1. Enjoy this time with friends and family and plan to join us on January 8.
All youth (grades 6-12) are invited to a Christmas Party on Sunday, December 22. Check your 11/25 email or contact Ema Cynthia for details!
